One of the greatest needs of the millions of people living in the countries of the former Soviet Union is the Word of God. For almost a hundred years the communist regime was not allowing the printing of the Bible. After the fall of communism the Russian Orthodox church has been keeping God's Word away from the common people offering them instead their "sacred traditions".
In 2010 The Light of Hope Ministry launched a "Sabbath Rally" for the countries of Eastern Europe. Thousands of DVDs and brochures explaining the Biblical truth of the Sabbath are being distributed across the 11 time zones. In the month of February of 2011 pastor Peter started the recording of the audio version of the new translation of the New Testament made by his late father. This spring the audio Bible will become available to the hundreds of millions of Russian speaking people.
The Light of Hope needs your financial support in making the Word of God available to the nations that have been deprived of it for many generations. Please, pray for the success of this new initiative. Many souls are still in darkness today. They need to find the Light of Hope.
